- 5:30 PM – Oskaloosa Christian School Harvest Festival
- This fun family event starts with supper from 5-6:45 PM (indoors) and games and inflatables from 5:30-7:30 PM (outdoors). If you would like to volunteer to help with the games please contact Shauna Williams at 641-295-1631 or the school office at 641-672-2174. - 9 AM-1 PM – Vines of Life-Walk for a Cure at Tassel Ridge Winery
- You are invited to participate in the “Vines of Life-Walk for a Cure” fundraiser benefitting the Relay for Life and American Cancer Society. Walk individually or form a team to support a cancer survivor, someone currently fighting against cancer, or in memory of a loved one. Registration is $25 by September 8 or $30 after that date. It includes a t-shirt and glass of wine, a soft drink, or a bottle of water. For those unable to walk in the vineyard, participate in “Sip for a Cure” by sitting and sipping one of the above beverages and enjoying the view. Tassel Ridge Winery will also be selling Wood Fired Oven Pizzas from 11 AM-4 PM with $1 per pizza going towards Relay for Life. Download the Vine of Life 2016 Registration form and Consent, Release, and Waiver of Claims for athttp://www.tasselridge.com. Hopefully, someday, no one will have to hear the words, “you have cancer.”

- Everyone is invited. Come join us for an old fashioned hymn-sing led by the Rozenboom Trio. This is a dessert only event beginning with fellowship time at 6:30 PM, followed by dessert and program from 6:45-8 PM. The gifts from this fundraiser will be used for our tuition assistance program. We would love for you to join us in celebrating God’s continuing blessings to our school!

- Prayer Partners Needed: The power of prayer makes a difference in all our lives. We are once again asking for volunteers to partner with our GEMS in prayer. If you are willing to partner with these girls, please contact Deb Vande Voort at 626-3609 or 780-7851.
- Are you interested in being a prison volunteer for New Life Prison Community? The department of corrections will be holding a volunteer training on Tuesday, October 4 at 5:15 PM.
